Here at Victoria House, we specialise in the care for the elderly, whilst encouraging continued independence for individuals as much as possible. This can include assistance with personal care, washing and dressing, bathing and taking medication. Each resident’s room provides a ‘home from home’ environment, which allows the individual to personalise their own space with their own personal belongings. Residential care allows for residents to be independent but are supported by staff to their specific care needs.
We recognise that although age brings infirmities requiring sympathetic help it does not diminish the need for friendship, laughter, stimulation, and personal achievement.

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but time off for both of you is essential allowing family carers the time to recharge their batteries while offering their loved ones the reassurance of 24-hour care.

We treat all of our residents as individuals and tailor our care around their needs. With the help of family and loved ones, we are able to get to know our residents, creating a picture of their life and ensuring we base our care around their likes, dislikes and habits.
Day Care
Everyone deserves time out whether you care for a relative or are in need of care yourself, taking a break from your usual routine can do the world of good for a day.
Our day care provides a friendly and stimulating home-away-from-home for people who are still living at home, but who may need some additional support during the day.
We can offer assistance with personal care, bathing or a shower.
We also can provide home cooked meals and day care residents can enjoy our daily activities program.
Victoria House can tailor a day package to your or your loved ones needs.
